With more than 14 years of investment management and shareholder relations experience, Leanne Sievers contributes critical financial and strategic insight and direction to the Shelton Group executive management team as well as client companies. Having joined Shelton Group in 2001 with extensive knowledge of the financial markets and Wall Street, Sievers is responsible for building and managing the Shelton Group California office and providing strategic direction for client companies, as well as overseeing operational aspects and new business development for the company. Focusing on the unique communication needs of both public and privately held companies, she leverages her relationships and background in the financial community for the benefit of her clients.

Sievers began her career as a licensed stockbroker with Merrill Lynch and later started her own investment planning business, where she consulted with individuals and small businesses regarding their financial and investment needs. Additionally, she has worked in corporate and agency communications environments implementing strategic investor communication programs for a multitude of companies across various industries. As a former stockbroker and business owner, Sievers combines financial business insight with an entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiastic dedication that offers Shelton Group clients a fresh perspective and measurable results. Her valuable input on financial community relations enables her to anticipate and respond to the needs and expectations of Wall Street, and her strategic approach strengthens her team’s ability to implement and execute aggressive IR programs that help clients gain the proper visibility within the financial community.

Advising the senior management teams of Shelton Group’s public and private client companies on the intricacies of communicating with Wall Street, Sievers incorporates deep expertise in the creation, management and execution of proactive investor relations programs that encompass all facets of investor communications. Under her direction, the IR team applies successful tactics including financial community relations with analysts; institutional and individual investor targeting; key message development; strategic creation of press releases and financial presentations; Web site analysis; road show placement; perception study administration; peer evaluation and coverage analysis; earnings release writing; conference call implementation; and annual report development. Sievers continues to lead the extension and expansion of Shelton Group’s network of financial relationships through co-sponsorship of Silicon Hills Summit in Austin, Texas and Silicon East Summit in Boston, Massachusetts.

Sievers graduated with honors from Texas Christian University, where she earned her bachelor of business administration in finance with a specialization in accounting. A former Registered Investment Advisor, Sievers is an active member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and Public Relations Organisation International (PROI). Sievers participates in community and industry seminars as an IR expert and has been a featured speaker for Fortune 500 corporations, investment clubs, women’s organizations and local universities.
