Shelton Promotes Vicki Reece to Vice President of Event Management and Marketing
Ten-year Veteran Provides Unique Event Management Expertise for Diversification and Growth of Integrated Communications Firm

DALLAS (Feb. 2, 2003) – Shelton, an integrated communications firm providing public relations (PR), investor relations (IR), creative services and marketing for high-tech companies, announced that it has promoted Vicki Reece to vice president of event management and marketing.

In her expanded role, Reece oversees all events produced by Shelton, ranging from educational programs and industry luncheons to technical workshops and executive-level networking functions. For the Fabless Semiconductor Association (FSA) – Shelton’s largest client – she simultaneously serves as executive producer of the organization’s premier awards dinner program for more than 1,300 industry executives, as well as directing all aspects of the annual FSA Suppliers Expo trade show.

Prior to joining Shelton in 2000, Reece was the director of special events for the Dallas Market Center, the world’s largest wholesale merchandise resource, where she managed, marketed and executed all events. Directing a staff in the annual implementation of nine major markets involving 5,000 to 30,000 attendees, she managed the planning, creation and coordination of educational and award programs, fashion shows, concerts, merchandise displays and product demonstrations at the Dallas Market Center.

During her career, Reece has had the privilege of working on events featuring nationally recognized figures in the public and private sectors, securing national event headliners such as General Tommy Franks, former U.S. Secretary of State James Baker III and Senator John Glenn; entertainment celebrities Jay Leno, the Dixie Chicks and Meredith Vieira; and acclaimed fashion labels such as Escada, Ferragamo and Pamela Dennis, to name a few.

Reece received her bachelor of fine arts from the University of North Texas and currently serves on the 2004 advisory board for electronicaUSA, one of the largest technology and electronics-focused trade shows in North America.
