Shelton Expands International Capabilities as Newest North American Member of Global PROI Network
Technology Communications Firm Enhances Integrated Services through Worldwide Partnership of Top Agencies
DALLAS (Jan. 13, 2003) – Shelton, an integrated communications firm providing public relations (PR), investor relations (IR), creative design and marketing for high-tech companies, has been selected by Public Relations Organisation International, Inc. (PROI) as the newest North American partner in its worldwide public relations network.
Effective immediately, the PROI partnership gives Shelton and its clients expanded access to specific expertise and media relationships in markets outside of North America. Through Shelton, clients can coordinate global efforts through PROI’s exclusive network of 50 PR agency partners selected from countries including Japan, Spain, Germany, France, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and the United Kingdom.

To ensure superior quality throughout the network, PROI limits its membership to 50 partners by selecting the top five firms in each market based on size, expertise, client mix and geographic location to exchange resources. Seven members of PROI’s international board, consisting of executives from member companies, review applications from candidate agencies. PROI’s business model is to select specialized firms in niche markets to provide targeted expertise to its partners.
